Parking sensor electromagnetic ebay fitting

This is based on the fitting of the CISBO non OEM parking sensors which I purchased from ebay for £27 delivered. Consequently I did some research on the electromagnetic version. It only costs £125 to have rear sensors fitted by the dealer and this includes a respray of the rear bumper and electrics connected. Each of the sensor pin is tested during EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) testing to verify it can survive a high voltage discharge. Can any one tell me that how do electromagnetic parking sensors work? You can get these incredible finds in eBay at discounted prices.
