Sensor conditioning ic with single op amp


A dual op amp (IC1) endows the differential charge amplifier with single-supply operation and low supply current. Now what happens when you connect the AD590 to a single-ended input on the MAX197 ADC ()? MONOLITHIC magnetic sensor ICs generally use Si Hall elements which are easily integrated with the amplifier or signal-conditioner circuits required for amplification or processing the relatively low voltages generated.
