Wpf separator not visible

Please try it this is showing separator with overflow and you can set the overflow with each element by overflowmode property. I want to use the Separator control in a vertical way(Lets say in a horizontal StackPanel). Separator control in a vertical way(Lets say in a horizontal StackPanel).

I use the MenuItem IsSeparator sucessfully in dropdown menus but the separator is not showing when used in the main menu bar.
