Wpf separator not visible


Please try it this is showing separator with overflow and you can set the overflow with each element by overflowmode property. I want to use the Separator control in a vertical way(Lets say in a horizontal StackPanel). Separator control in a vertical way(Lets say in a horizontal StackPanel).

I use the MenuItem IsSeparator sucessfully in dropdown menus but the separator is not showing when used in the main menu bar. Separator does not show in the Visual Studio Editor (it is selectable but not visisble) and it does not show at run time. Separator a width and height makes it visible at design time but not at design time. Such menus contain several menu items that are displayed side by side. If the CurrentCulture is set to French then the decimal separator should show up differently. French then the decimal separator should show up differently. How can I change the background color of a menuitem separator to match the background color of the menuitems? The other two columns are not visible because they currently have a zero width.
